TGGS DAAD Scholarships 2024 Apply Now. The DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) scholarships are prestigious awards offered by the German Academic Exchange Service to international students, researchers, and professionals. The scholarship is only for Masters and Doctoral Program.

It is a fully funded scholarship and easiest to get in Germany. The scholarship study plan is divided into two parts. The first year study is in Thailand and second year study is in Germany. IELTS is compulsory for this scholarship. Both years are fully funded through DAAD scholarship. The Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering is public private partnership established between Thai and German Government for different disciplines. RWTH Aachen University, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok has founded TGGS as a joint project. There is no application fee initially for the students.

The deadline to submit the application is 31st March 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

• IELTS is mandatory.
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related fields from an international recognized university
• Minimum cgpa 2.50 or 3.00
• Work experience
• Research experience
• Good reading, writing and communication skills.

Commencement of Classes

• Classes begin in August 2024.

Benefits

• No application fee initially.
• In the first year in Thailand, a stipend of 500 euros will be paid, while in the second year in Germany, a stipend of 932 euros will be paid.
• The scholarship covers full tuition fees and cost of living.
